Can I add a transport wheel to my pontoon boat?

It is possible that you may be able to add a transport wheel to your boat. 

Firstly, our transport wheels are only compatible with 9-foot and 10-foot pontoon boats. 

Secondly, the boat must have a set of two square receiving tubes under the seat frame.  

If your boat has the two square receiving tubes in the image above, you're ready to purchase a Replacement Transport Wheel Package, PRT-30-076. The replacement transport wheel package is a 3-piece set that includes the wheel, fork and axle.

If your boat does not have the two square receiving tubes under the seat frame, you may be able to purchase parts to make it compatible. The parts needed will depend on your boat model.   

IMPORTANT! The transport wheel package is not compatible with any 8-foot boat. 

Wilderness Pontoon Boat

The Wilderness Pontoon Boat is approximately 5 inches narrower than our other 9 foot boats.  Because of this, all of the frame pieces that make up the center of the boat need to be replaced with wider pieces.

• Rear Platform Frame, PRT-30-027
• Rear Cargo Platform (Wire Basket), PRT-30-028

With these three pieces, you will be ready to add the Transport Wheel Package, PRT-30-076.

Colorado Pontoon Boat

Our standard Colorado Pontoon Boat does not come with a transport wheel.  If your seat frame does not have the two square receiving tubes, all you will need is a new seat frame
